  7. Consider authorizing the Mayor to apply for a Texas Department of Agriculture,

Downtown Revitalization Program Grant, designating the Mayor as the city’s Authorized Representative, and Adopting a Resolution in support of the same.

  1. Consider the Designation of the Boundaries of the Downtown District, the Declaration of the area’s infrastructure as Slum/Blighted and Adopting a Resolution in support of the same.
  2. Consider Ordinance Relating to Speed Zones which specifically designates additional areas in City of Buffalo, in which rates of speed of 30 mph or more, are authorized
  3. CLOSED SESSION

Council will go into Closed Session pursuant to Section 551.071 to consult with attorney to receive legal advice, Section 551.072 regarding real property and Section 551.074 regarding personnel matters.

  1. Discuss Wastewater Treatment Plant
  2. Hear a complaint or charge against Police Chief
  3. Deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of Police Chief
  4. Consult with attorney concerning legal matters
  5. RECONVENE INTO REGULAR SESSION
  6. Take any action necessary regarding Wastewater Treatment Plant
  7. Take any action necessary concerning a complaint or charge against Police Chief
  8. Take any action necessary regarding appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of Police Chief
  9. Take any action necessary concerning the legal matters

I, the undersigned authority, do hereby certify that this notice of meeting of the governing body of the City of Buffalo, is a true and correct copy and that it was posted on the bulletin board at the Buffalo City Administration Office at 812 N. Buffalo Avenue, Buffalo, Texas. This bulletin board is convenient and accessible to the general public, in the lobby of the front office. The notice was posted on August 13, 2019 at 4:00 PM and will remain continuously posted for at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of meeting and at buffalotex.com.
